The Challenge

Travis Legal Offices is a tight-knit operation: Todd, his son Jordan, and 2.5 support staff — including Jordan’s wife, who handles paralegal work. But the cases they take on are anything but small.

Over the past year, they’ve litigated against multiple-defendant trucking companies, taken on insurers in bad faith disputes, and prepped for federal trials involving over 20,000 pages of combined discovery.

In one case, Todd was facing a July trial with 14,000 pages of insurance internal manuals and over 6,000 pages of medical records from seven surgeries.

“That timeline alone would’ve taken us two or three days to build manually,” he said. “And that’s before you even start drafting the demand.”

Turning Point 1: $700K → $3 million

The Case: A severe auto collision where causation was under attack. The defense claimed Todd’s client didn’t complain of neck pain until 90 days after the crash – a linchpin in their attempt to downplay liability.

What Changed: During the deposition, Jordan quietly opened Supio’s AI Assistant and typed in a prompt:

“Show me all documented complaints of neck pain before [date], with Bates-stamped page numbers.”

In seconds, the assistant returned 14+ entries showing bilateral neck pain complaints all predating the defense’s timeline.

When Todd took over, he cited each one by date, clinic, quote, and Bates number.

The defense expert’s foundation collapsed.

“It made me look like I had every page of the record memorized,” Todd said.

The Result: The case, previously stuck at a $700K offer, settled shortly after for $3 million.

Turning Point 2: $400K → $800k

The Case: A multi-defendant trucking collision where testimony was all over the place. Four different defendants, conflicting depositions, and a dense paper trail of safety protocols and investigative reports.

What Changed: Todd ran each deposition transcript through Supio asking it to flag contradictions between the driver, the corporate rep, and internal policies. With the help of Medical Chronologies, he quickly linked inconsistencies to specific records.

He used those materials to build a 13-minute pre-mediation video. It stitched together contradictory quotes and document excerpts – a highlight reel of contradiction, delivered straight to the decision-makers before the mediation could be sanitized.

“It went right past defense counsel and straight to the people who write the checks,” Todd said.

The Result: A $400K offer doubled to an $800k settlement.

Turning Point 3: $100K → $740k

The Case: A case involving a damaging Rule 35 defense exam. The report omitted key tests, downplayed injuries, and lacked clinical support – but it was long and dense. Normally, rebutting it would take hours.

What Changed: Todd fed the report into Supio’s AI Assistant and asked it to identify gaps, omissions, and non-reviewed materials. He then handed that to his treating experts, who wrote a tailored rebuttal that went directly after the exam’s weak points.

From there, he used Supio’s Demand Drafting tool to build a compelling, evidence-rich demand letter including an expanded section on non-economic damages tied directly to the rebuttal and Medical Chronologies.

“Supio gave our experts the ammo they needed. That rebuttal crushed their causation theory,” Todd said.

The Result: A $100K offer resolved for $740k.

More Time When It Counts

Supio helped Travis' team move faster, prep smarter, and keep cases on track even when key staff were out. When Jordan and his wife stepped away after the birth of their child, the work kept moving. Demands got drafted. Timelines got built. Depositions got prepped.

For Todd, that meant more space to focus, regroup and show up when it mattered most.

“It gave me more time,” Todd said. “The case that would’ve gone to trial this week settled. I can go to the hospital. I can see my grandkid.”
